Well,i finally got a few minutes to make a quick post, so he it goes. Team Hardcore went hit the Hopedale area to try for some silver wonders, since i dont fish that area too much i was pretty much along for the ride, plus the numb nuts that i was fishing with, blindfolded me and i was sworn to secrecy as to where we were, so all i can say was we caught them in the water. LOL started out over cast with a north wind about 10-15 mph, we arrived at the spot and started a drift, within 5 minutes of killing the motor the navigator of the boat, had already landed 6 trout, in the ice chest, and was talking some serious trash, so we decided to switch baits, to the same bait that he was using, which was a DOA under a poppin cork. As soon as we figured out the pattern, it was on, made several drifts and picked up several trout on each pass. once we could not see the ice in the ice chest anymore, we decided to make a head count, after we counted we had a little over a 2 man limit in the boat. we shuffeled them back into the box and continued to work on our 3rd man limit. By 10:30- 11:00 am we had our limit for the boat, we called over to the other boat that was with us to see if they had reached their limit, and they also had toped off their boat capacity. so we decided to head in. All i can say is for 2 boats with 6 men, and 6 limits done by 11:00 am is an awesome trip in my book. I had a great time with good friends, and hope to do it again soon.
