Went out in search of some trout Friday morning, but wound up switching to plan "B" as the morning progressed. Well,i finally got a few minutes to make a quick post, so he it goes. Team Hardcore went hit the Hopedale area to try for some silver wonders, since i dont fish that area too much i was pretty much along for the ride, plus the numb nuts that i was fishing with, blindfolded me and i was sworn to secrecy as to where we were, so all i can say was we caught them in the water. Went out of Quintana Launch on Saturday around 7:00 am with our QAQC manager from work. There was already abolut 100 boats there, so i knew it was about to get stupid. didnt want to fight the crowds and the usual hot spots, so i carried on around the Point and worked the shore line about 100 -200Yds off of the bank, took about 5 minutes and Bam, Trout 1 in the boat. FOr the next 20 minutes it was a pretty steady bite, then it slowed down to not getting a bite for about every 5 minutes or so.

Late report from Friday 7/1/11.....Headed out of Quintana Marina around 7 AM friday morning, crossed the bay and wwnt into Marsh Island, water was muddy so i decided to throw a cast net for some live bait. headed straight through the island to the reefs on the south side...Water still muddy, continued south for about 30 miles and found some blue water around the rigs, found a rig that was producing some huge trout for the other boats that was around it, but could not get on the right side of the
